1 At Bat Media is a performance-focused eCommerce growth agency. We help DTC brands acquire and retain more customers through Paid Media and Email + SMS. We care about disciplined testing, senior-led execution, clear ownership, and proactive communication.

 

The role

 

We are hiring a Graphic Designer to produce conversion-focused creative for eCommerce brands, primarily for:

  • Paid social ads (Meta-first)
  • Email marketing creative
  • Occasional decks / one-pagers (case studies, offer sheets, client-facing visuals)

 

This is a production-heavy role. You’ll work inside a client pod alongside Growth Strategy, Paid Media, and Email. Your job is to take clear briefs and deliver high-quality creative that performs and needs minimal rework.

 

You will also collaborate closely with our Creative Team Lead for QA standards and creative direction.

 

Responsibilities

 

1) Performance ad creative (Meta + paid channels)

  • Design static ad creative and variations built for testing (multiple concepts and iterations weekly)
  • Create assets across standard formats (feed, story, reels frames, carousel)
  • Follow creative best practices: clear hook, benefit-led layout, strong hierarchy, readable text, CTA clarity
  • Maintain organized exports, file naming, and version control

 

2) Email design (Klaviyo creative support)

  • Design email banners, modules, and layouts consistent with brand guidelines
  • Support campaign and flow creative needs (promo banners, product highlights, UGC/testimonial modules, GIFs where relevant)
  • Ensure design is optimized for email (safe type sizes, mobile-first, spacing, file size considerations)

 

3) Creative iteration + collaboration

  • Use feedback and performance insights to iterate quickly (speed matters)
  • Communicate clearly in ClickUp: questions, blockers, deliverable status, versioning
  • Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to ensure creative and messaging work together

 

4) QA and standards

  • Follow design standards and checklists (dimensions, spacing, legibility, brand consistency, correct offers/pricing, correct URLs when applicable)
  • Reduce rework by self-QA before submitting for review
  • Incorporate Creative Team Lead feedback and apply learnings so mistakes don’t repeat

 

Requirements (must-haves)

 

  • 2+ years design experience (agency or performance marketing environment preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (required). Adobe suite is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of designing for conversion (layout hierarchy, clarity, persuasion, mobile-first)
  • Ability to produce quality work quickly and iterate fast without ego
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail (exports, naming, version control)
  • Strong written communication (you can work cleanly in ClickUp async)

 

Nice-to-haves

 

  • Experience designing for DTC eCommerce brands (supplements, apparel, beauty, home, pets, etc.)
  • Experience creating lightweight motion/GIFs or simple video cutdowns (not required)
  • Familiarity with Meta ad creative trends and testing frameworks
  • Understanding of Klaviyo email design constraints and best practices

First 30 days

  • Produces high-quality creative for 1–2 clients with minimal revisions
  • Learns internal workflow, QA standards, and client brand guidelines quickly
  • Consistently delivers on time and communicates clearly in ClickUp

 

By 60 days

  • Reliable weekly output that supports creative testing cadence (multiple iterations per concept)
  • Fewer revisions needed due to strong self-QA and consistency
  • Contributes creative ideas, not just execution

 

By 90 days

  • Independently owns creative production for assigned accounts
  • Understands what performs and can translate feedback/data into better creative
  • Operates with speed, quality, and accountability with minimal oversight
